WANTED

A FEW GOOD MEN AND WOMEN

The Semper Fi #1 Memorial Honor Detail is a group of
retired or former Marines who volunteer their time to
honor those veterans that are interred at the Riverside
National Cemetery located in Riverside California.

We are an all volunteer group who meet twice a month.
One day is practice, the second session is duty day where
we perform the ceremonies. The ceremonies consist of a
color guard, a rifle firing detail, flag folding and
presentation of the flag. We have two buglers and can do echo taps
when needed. Each member is responsible for his or her uniform.

Rep. Mary Bono Mack (R-CA) with the team 12/5/2009

We now have over 65 members, ranging between 30-86
years of age. We have veterans from WWII to the present
We now field two teams on duty day and as we grow we will field a third team beginning Jauary 29th, 2010.
